Talent Evolution and Management

The objective of the TEAM is developing an institute work culture where the best brains in science and technology in India come and work together in 10 years from today.

Science and Technology (S&T) has always been a critical component for country's growth and development. It was the green revolution that helped India feed its huge and starving population. The white revolution which led to a healthy and strong population. It was the infrastructure and manufacturing development that connected cities and towns of the nation. And now we have the electronics and communication that has revolutionized how all the information and services are easily available on your fingertips.

Every Idea has a time. No one can stop an Idea whose time has come. If Google Alibaba or wikipedia had happened few years before  it would have been long dead like Alta vista and encarta. The Google and Alibaba happened with rise of INTERNET penetration in India and China which led to this exponential growth. The You-tube would never have been a hit without the high speed broadband in India.

The mobile wallets like BHIM would not have been a success without mobile connectivity.

The konkan railways would not have been a success in late 2000s, as the flights  in India were available for cheap rates and fund would not have been available for the project. It was successful as it was done in 1990s that was done in shoestring budget that only single track work was done. Now it so successful that work of double tracking is carried on.

 Now is the time for S&T in India: Now the S&T is pursued in large collaboration of multiple teams at different locations which needs synergy to get great outputs. This needs a different domain of knowledge and management to handle multiple teams and expertise and deliver excellence.
