World Cup 2010

One of the fascinating thing to do when World Cup arrives is to predict the winner. It is fun and really enjoyable to see how far your predictions have gone right but it is always biased towards your favourite team rather than the possible scenario. Here goes my prediction for this World Cup and my say is it is a complete European semi final. Yes the kind of World Cup 2006. Yes it is against the history where an European team has won in only European soil and a south American team won outside Europe since 1958. But this time  the semi finals will Spain winning against Germany and Netherlands winning against England and it will be the Netherlands going all the way beating Brazil,England and Spain to lift the trophy.I am expecting an upset in quarter final when Netherlands take on Brazil because of the Confederation Cup Curse as the winners never made it big in the following world cup.

Group    Grp A   Grp B   GrpC    Grp D    Grp E   Grp F    Grp G    Grp H
winners Mex      Arg       Eng      Ger        Ned      Italy      Brazil    Spain
SA       NGR      Slo       Aus        Den       Para     Por        Chile
PreQ
Winners Mex      Arg  vs  Ger      Eng       Ned      Italy  vs  Spain    Brazil

Quarters              Germany                vs                     Spain
winners                England                 vs                     Netherlands

Finals              Spain Vs Netherlands

Netherlands win 1-0 in Full time.

The above is my prediction and below is the Castrol WC2010 predictions.

After the first round the new predictor is as follows

After another big upset - This is the first time in history of the  World Cup  that  the Winners and runners up are out in first round with Italy  following France out of the World Cup 2010 the predictor looked as follows.

The final Castrol prediction layout after the Round of 16 looked as below

Those who have power to change things don't bother to;and those who bother don't have the power to do so .................but I think It is a very thin line that divides the two and I am walking on that.Well is pure human nature to think that "I am the best and my ideas unquestionable"...it is human EGO and sometimes it is very important for survival of the fittest and too much of it may attract trouble.Well here you decide where do I stand.I say what I feel.
